How is my artwork packed?

Original Artwork: Original paintings on canvas and paper are professionally packed with acid free materials and secured with protective padding. Those on canvas are sent gallery wrapped on the stretchers, unless specified otherwise. Original artwork on paper is shipped in a tube. All original artwork includes a signed certificate of authenticity. Please reach out immediately if your original painting arrives with any damage.

Fine Art Prints: This is according the policy of printify, the company I work with to print the reproductions.

How long does it take before I receive my artwork?

Original Artwork: We will be in contact with you when the artwork is shipped. It takes a while for us to prepare your painting for travel, we try to ship the artwork between 1 and 4 weeks after the payment is complete.

Fine Art Prints:  This is according the policy of printify.

How is shipping calculated?

Original Artwork: The shipping cost will be calculated when you checkout. Please note, import and duty taxes may also apply and are the customer’s responsibility for payment. If you have any questions about shipping costs for your beloved artwork, don’t hesitate to contact us via info@hildemaes.be

Fine Art Prints: A flat rate is applied at checkout depending on the item selected and the ship to location.

Can artwork be shipped internationally?

Original Artwork: Yes absolutely. The shipping cost will be calculated when you checkout. Please note, import and duty taxes may also apply and are the customer’s responsibility for payment.

Other Countries: When at checkout it says 'we don't ship to this country, please contact us for information at info@hildemaes.be. So that we can talk about the possibilities.

Fine Art Prints: Yes, paper and canvas prints are shipped worldwide. 

Duty/Taxes: All items going outside the European Union may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Art by Hilde is not responsible for these charges if/when they are applied and are the sole responsibility of the customer.
