Wings of Stillness II – A Breath Held in Ink

Wings of Stillness II is the second work in an ongoing series of original ink drawings exploring the quiet world of birds. Each piece in the series captures a single, suspended moment — a breath held, a wing half-raised, a gaze directed somewhere beyond the frame.

In this second drawing, ink flows with controlled freedom across the paper, tracing the subtle presence of a bird in stillness. The stark contrast of deep black against white gives the composition an almost meditative quality — simple on the surface, layered beneath.

Part of a growing collection that celebrates the grace of the natural world through the unforgiving honesty of ink.
